I found these long distance executions to be the strongest sections of Contracts 2.

The latter restrict your movement to smaller maps, such as the top of a mountain range, but task you with eliminating targets that are in some instances over a thousand metres beyond your perimeter. Whereas the last game presented you with a series of sandboxes to sneak around in, Contracts 2 brings some welcome variety by alternating between two traditional open mission areas and three concentrated ‘long shot’ contracts. They're both fun and both worth at least a try.The mission structure, however, is slightly different to that of 2020’s Contracts.

Having played a decent amount of time with both, I honestly can't say that I prefer one over the other. If you're looking for a less serious and more arcady experience, definately go Elite. I feel like this brings the different styles of those games together quite nicely, while adding ideas of it's own. If you're looking for a Crysis/Far Cry/Cod 4 sniping game, you needn't look further. In fact, other than the sniping, I wouldn't compare the two.

Mind you, I've also been collecting a lot of the side stuff too.įinally, as for which is better? It really depends on what you're looking for. I'd actualy compare it a lot to Hitman at times.Īs for the length of Ghost Warrior, I'm 40 hours in and still haven't beaten it. It's still a really good sniping game, but I'd say that it takes itself a little less seriously than Ghost Warrior. I would say that it pursues "fun" and playability first, sniping second. The overall game I would say is a lot like the original Crysis, but more open and without the nanosuit. Sniper takes on a more serious take on sniping and approaches it almost from a COD 4ish meets Crysis approach. Both have their strengths and weaknesses.
